Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport

We stayed here for a night before an early flight, taking advantage of the very handy location of this hotel. The room we had was to sleep 3, but one of the beds was a sofa-bed, which was extremely hard and uncomfortable, but the main bed was perfectly fine and everything else in the room was great. Good selection of coffee bags, although 8 bags is probably too many for one night! We were able to grab a breakfast to go bag from reception in the morning, which was perfectly sufficient before braving the airport.

We stayed here in January prior to an early morning flight. We haven't stayed for a few years as the price has jumped considerably since the hotel first opened and we have found some really great places to stay within a few minutes drive for a lot less and I couldn't justify the extra cost. However, I was delighted to find a good price for the date I wanted so booked. It is a great bonus that you can now park outside free of charge for 1 hour, which was perfect to check in, drop our luggage to the room, a quick cuppa and then we moved the car to the multi storey car park. Unfortunately a VERY large group had arrived (apparently an ice hockey team) who thought they were the most important guests in the hotel, they completely took over all the public areas with their luggage and also the restaurant area. To such a degree we decided not to eat or have a drink on the premises. Our room was as I remembered, very spacious, large TV, really great bathroom with lots of toiletries, loved the huge towels and the room was very quiet. I was recovering from surgery and was suffering from the cold and the heating wasn't working. A call to reception and someone came to sort it immediately. Unfortunately it kept tripping off an alarm, I had to call reception twice more, each time the staff were efficient, friendly and exceptionally helpful. They offered to swap our room but as I was already in my pj's and in bed, I declined, we turned the heating off and all was fine. We had a good nights sleep, the bed was very comfortable, a great shower in the evening and again early in the morning. We went down for breakfast at 4.30am and were very impressed with the continental breakfast selection, it was really very good, especially the fruit compote and coffee. Sadly, the huge group were also present. We found them to be extremely rude to the staff, their luggage was a nightmare, the manager had to ask them at least twice to clear the entrance to the doorway, people struggled to pass with their own luggage and it was a bad health and safety issue. Absolutely no thought for other guests. The lady working in the breakfast area was a delight and looked after us well, thank you to her. The manager was very pleasant on check out, he asked how our stay had been. He was very apologetic about the alarm (these things happen) and about the large group (not their fault). All in all a mostly positive stay and we will definitely return again if the price is right, well done.

Excellent location, just a 4 minute walk from the terminal. Upon arrival, reception staff were helpful. Room was very nice. Good size, clean and bed was very comfortable and large. Very quiet..... couldn't hear any noise. The only negative was the breakfast. By 6am, the "continental breakfast" had basically gone.....just some cereal and a bit of bread left. So waited a few minutes for the hot breakfast. It was hot.....but unfortunately fairly bland and tasteless. I overheard other guests saying the same thing......they weren't impressed with the hot breakfast.

Honest review: Stayed for one night before an early morning flight. Enjoyed the stay but a few minor flaws let the place down for the higher price. Firstly the positives: Continental breakfast available from 4am with a good selection of cold items including fruit, breads, cereals ham and cheese. Ideal for some food before an early flight. I believe cooked breakfast is from 6am/7am forget the exact time. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Super comfy bed, very nice to sleep in. Negatives: Despite being on the airport site you still have to walk 5 minutes to get to the main airport. Had the impression the hotel was directly inside the airport but its still an outside walk in the rain to get to the terminal. Room air-conditioning was temperamental, like most modern hotels they lock the air-conditioning settings giving limited options. Had it on cold but wasn't noticeable. Pillows - only 2 per person provided and very soft with no others available in cupboards. TV - despite a decent size TV its settings again were locked so was quite dark and couldn't turn up brightness. Biggest let down was they advertise a "baggage drop off" type service night before if have an early morning check in. Only info about this was a small placard when checking in. No info provided when checking in otherwise would of probably used this service as sounds like a Unique feature provided by the hotel. On reflection, the hotel is nice and ideal for convenience, however you pay premium price for this. Next time. I would probably stay further out and get a taxi in as can't really justify paying close to double other hotels 10/15 minutes taxi away. Ideal choice if you want convenience.

We stayed for 1 night only at Hampton. It is great hotel at Bristol airport. 4 to 5 minutes walk to long stay Cark park and 4 minutes walk to departure terminal. The room size is good and very comfortable beds. The early morning 4 am breakfast was very good and much required for early morning flight.

Great service. A problem with our room but was sorted immediately. Thank you Chelsea. The most comfy bed, pillow and quilt I actually asked if I could purchase it online!!

We had an excellent experience at Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for an easy airport stopover — but what really made my stay stand out was the staff. A special thank you to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. She was friendly, professional, and went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. Her warm welcome and willingness to assist made a real difference and set the tone for a stress‑free stay. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely return on my next trip through Bristol Airport.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing stay at Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport. From check-in, the customer service was excellent. Bradley was so pleasant and even noticed my birthday bag – he kindly gave me a complimentary drink voucher, which was such a thoughtful touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless – I had a great night’s sleep. The next morning, I checked out at 4am only to face a nightmare at the airport with cancellations. When I returned to the hotel around 7am, I was warmly greeted by Adina, who went above and beyond by allowing me to enjoy the breakfast I had missed and even return to my room for a much-needed nap. Both Bradley and Adina made my stay extra special, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I left very happy and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone – truly wonderful service!
